About This Project:
Per Family Care Cambodia: “We built this IT lab at in 2007, installing electricity and 30 second-hand computers. For the past 5 years we’ve sponsored the monthly electricity bill and the salary for a fulltime computer teacher who provides computer classes daily!  As a result, the school consistently ranks number 1 in the district and is the only public primary school that provides free IT training. Last year 3 of our IT graduates won scholarships for special High School education program because of their IT skills! Maintaining the second hand equipment for the past 5 years, given the heat, humidity and dust factors, has been a constant challenge and our student capacity has been dwindling recently as the old equipment breaks down. We are in urgent need of 30 upgraded computer set ups, so that we can continue at full capacity.”
