Project Background:

In Fall of 2010, Mira’s donors stepped in to raise the $970 needed to bring one computer, internet connection, and an IT instructor in to work with KYSD’s students. With this preliminary success, their staff has requested continued support from Mira’s friends and fans to increase the numbers of available computers and learning hours. In this community of high rural poverty, hands-on work opportunities are sporadic, so these classes will be the first exposure to much needed vocational training – starting with basic keyboard knowledge and moving on to Microsoft Office.
